Infrared Motion Sensor is the best solution for energy saving as it has an auto on/off switch which triggers when people walk into the sensor range. It detects the spectral change of infrared rays emitted by the human body. On detection of these rays device will automatically turn on until the person leaves the sensor range. It also has a light-sensitive control, which will turn on the lights only in case when the brightness falls below a pre-set level, to avoid switching in the daytime or in a lighted environment. The sensitivity is adjustable depending on the requirement from 10lx -2000lx.
